Project 26: Stories | Clinton Mississippi child photographer

This week, my groups prompt is “stories” – I had several ideas for this one, but I ended up going with a pretty literal route. My friend Jennifer and I took our two youngest to the library for the first time the other day. Both boys are very active, so we weren’t sure how the trip would go. These two boys are cut from the same clothe and I know when they grow up, we will have many stories to tell them about the things they got in to together as kids!! So I thought I would document this trip to the library together!

Lucky for me, one of the only things that will make Charlie sit still is a book! He is always up for reading a book. So I did capture a few of him “reading” a Curious George book. I tried to get some pictures of Cole with a book, but he wasn’t as keen on sitting still to read! But I did get a few of them heading in to the library and I love the one of them both looking at the books! Who knows what those two were chattering about, but the look on Charlie’s face tells me it must have been entertaining!

Carey - What adorable curly headed boys!!! I love that you used this opportunity to document their first visit to a library! And I love that even with your little guy being ALL boy, he’ll still sit for a book. Beautiful photos to commemorate the important event and this week’s theme!
